Artist's Note
This is a wallpaper that I have been working on. Something I thought may be interesting... At first you might (as others have) just think its a few waves/tentacles... just think of the deeper meaning. I dont mean to offend anyone. Res: 1600x1200
.zip includes choices, then one of each choice

The typo and little guy don't work well. The tentacles should stretch across the whole bottom/top. Too much emptiness. Looks unfinished.

Without working out the deeper meaning, I would suggest having the tenticles go entirely from one edge of the screen to the other.

Turorial wall. If it doesn't generally work, "deeper meaing" is rather useless. Maybe if you made both tentacles the same colour, the wall would be more usable. You're not offending anyone, maybe someone's sense of taste, but that's pretty much as far as it goes. FrostedFlames is correct about the design: the tentacles (one of the two sets) should stretch across the entire screen - horizontally would be best. TOULAR::: don't get discouraged. Yes, I see the heaven and hell idea. Fine. It just does not work very well, visually. you're too hung up on an abstract notion. That it should strecth all the way across, is because that technique tends to work well - it's like the letterbox format. Splits the screen in two and makes for better organization. Customization is generally about visual appeal and functionality, not about subordinating a theme to abstract notions, alhough I do appreciate the meaning this piece has for you, personally. I've noticed that in some of your previous submisisons, you've emphasized the "mystery" or randomness, or the "hit or miss" feel of your pieces, without much attention to actual quality or usability as a themable wallpaper. You're on the right track, just put more work into your walls, and always think about how people might theme around them.

Some say the world will end in fire/ Some say in ice./ From what I've tasted of desire/ I hold with those who favour fire./ But if it had to perish twice,/ I think I know enough of hate/ To say that for destruction ice/ Is also great/ And would suffice.
hell i thought it was appropriate i had to memorize that in 7th grade and this just brought it back niftyness

The point is... one is from heaven the other from hell... why would they stretch all the way across the screen? thats the POINT... he's torn between the two. And horizontal? what? Nevermind... I dont know why i bother.
