This skin is a nice workaround. Windows 2000 supports transparency via an API... lets just cross our fingers and hope the FFX author will add this fabulous (and slow) feature.

Yeah, I would have liked to make a true transparent vis plugin but one problem - no fucking clue how. So I sat down and made this for myself... and then I decided I might as well release it because people might like it. MicroHack - do you have any suggestions or are you just gonna bitch about it?

i dunno; it might be REALL COOL; but looks really lame to me. I'm tired of all tge interlaced transparency peopel are using. if i want something transparent i want it truly transparent; otherwise i just want it normal.

Interlacing is a good (and very nicely cheap) method of transparency, it looks good, especially at high res, I say good job. Use 2K/XP's alpha blending if you want, that'd be cool, but interlaced imagery is also a style too.
