chaging recycle bin name

goto the windows registry:

regedit>HKEY_USERS_\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current\Ve
rsion\Explorer\CLSID the recycle bin icon is in the sub key Recycle bin:{645FF040-5081-101B-19F08-00AA002F954E} double click the default value and enter new text right click desktop and refresh. to undo changes right click the default value and select delete. refresh desktop to see things back to normal

cant seem to find it.. it is under HYKEY_USERS or HYEY_CURRENT_USER? cant seem to find it in both when i open HYKEY_USERS there is no software only default and s-1-5 some other numbers

you could also use something like e-icons to do it for you

You need admin rights to mess around with the registry if you're using XP Pro.
