"coding took a couple hours" "design made in photoshop in about an hour"
"Web Page Maker is an easy-to-use web page editor that allows you to create and upload web pages in minutes without knowing HTML. Simply drag and drop objects onto the page and position them freely in the layout. It comes with several pre-designed templates that help you to get started. It also includes ready-to-use navigation bars that can be inserted into the page."
As far as colors, I'd concentrate on the blue in the main logo and use varying intensities throughout, along with the grey in the info area. I'm not sure about the aqua bars and background. Layout is real cool. Wish I could do that good in short time.
Yea i used webpage maker, for images, but most of the inside coding is all me... I do know html and javascript, forgot to add I used that, thanks colosuss
Eh, the beep effect is horribly annoying and frankly, I don't see why you used Flash. You could accomplish a quite comparable effect using CSS and XHTML. Flash is just adding useless size to the page.
Agreed with antimatter. I just loaded this with Dial up =.=
the white links that are against the light grey are very hard to see. You need to increase the contrast between the two.
Add alt=" " into your images. This is to increase the accessibility of the website, not everyone can use a normal web browser, many people use Aid Applications to read websites.
A greater introduction to the website would be nicer. When i first entered the website I wasn't sure what I was looking at and the purpose of the website wasnt too clear. Something like "At Willyt we provide the services of blah blah blah" sorry im not that great with words.
Perhaps reprioritize your menu structure, I believe that About isnt as important as Portfolio or Services, since the purporse of your website is to advertise yourself and sell your services right?
The "News" and "A Counter-Strike Clan Perfected The Movie" is not needed on every page. The front page is sufficent.
A breadcrumb trail would be nice. As well as title each page the user goes to. Flipping from this customize page to your page, I have already lost track of where I am.
Thats my two cents for the moment. If you want to ask about content you can private message me.
Advent is right. The code is extremely bloated. You could get rid of about 3/4 of that code using a well defined style-sheet. If you are expecting to sell your services as a developer/designer you need to get on top of that.
