right-click menu editing?

I want to add a menu to the windows right-click. you know, how when you right-click on the desktop some menus will be "arrange icons by..." etc. I want to add one that accesses My Documents as a menu, just like the option for that in the start menu:

Is doing this at all possible? Or does anyone know how?

There are several articles on this page which may have the answer you're looking for.

I believe it is possible but it takes some doing.

Not gonna happen :( You'de HAVE to use a third party app to achieve this.

Using Reshacker, you can add new submenu's to the desktop right click, but the menu's MUST contain existing menuitems from within Shell32.dll, which is where you'll find the desktop right click.

Unfortunately, you can't add a really good menu manually, by yourself, such as My Documents, or the Start Menu, etc...

Not enough time to further explain, nor provide links, but they're are TWO applications, one is a shell extension, both of which can be found over at http://www.virtualplastic.net, which should be able to do this for you.

The shell extension, made by Grigri from VP, will place the "Programs" menu in the desktop right click, but you "MIGHT" could somehow trick it to place the Documents folder there instead.

The other application is a Japanese app, which has been translated to English, I think it's called "QuickMenu", and it has many more options. Find it at VP, in the "Japanese" forum section.

xeelee gave you a good link there, and on that page you'll find a million different ways to alter the look and feel of your desktop menu, but what you want is what I, and 1000's more wanted years ago, and we learned that without "coding" your way into that, it just isn't gonna happen.

Hope this helped you out :)
