I have tried Columns UI but I dont know the Foobar language that well and can't quite get it to look like that.

Perhaps you should consider looking into learning Tagz instead of expecting everything to be handed to you.

It's quite satisfying to create your own playlist string.

Well, all i want to display is the artist and track title, nothing else

I've been mucking around with columns ui and its harded than what I thought it would be. I also only want to display the artist and songname. I've got that far, but changing the font and colors is what I'm unable to do. ANY help would be appreciated.

The fonts and colors can be changed on Colums UI's Display tab.

everything you need is under the options, just look around

Changing fonts: go to the columns UI options, click on the "playlist" view tab and click the "playlist view display setting" button on the top right. You'll see the option to set "playlist font" in the menu.

Changing colours: click the "columns" tab and you'll see a list of columns that you have for your foobar.
Choose the column you want to edit and tick "use custom colour spec". Below it are 3 tabs, "Display", "Colour", "Sort". Choose the "colour" tab and use paste this in.

Sorry, I realise everything would be under options / Display, but I dont know how to do it. I enter a Hex color code in one the column color tabs, and on playlist the color comes up differently to the one i entered.. And i cant see where to change the font, in any of the tabs for columns ui.

I want to change Artist and Title color to the orange of the VS, and the font to nu.

About colors displaying differently than the one you entered:

The foobar2000 help for formatting strings makes note that all hex values are BBGGRR, and not RRGGBB.

I still can't fuvcking get it.

idk know what im doin wrong but my colors wont work...
