I posted in a thread and emailed an admin that I would like for my skins to be removed from this site almost a week ago and they're still there? Anything I can do to speed up this process?

sure. the oberon compiler i'm writing is not handling modules correctly. it recognizes procedures fine, but refuses to use the local procedures instead of the global ones. no idea why, all the checks work fine
that and my one of my compuers on the network is not working. it gets an IP correctly, and the router sees it fine, but it cant connect to anything, even the router. how it's possible that it gets the ip, but cant browse into the router is beyond me. any ideas? oh. if i run nmap on it, it displays all ports correctly. weird, huh?
that and my boss is not sure how much funding he's going to get next quarter about. as so, i'm looking about for research fellowships in bioinformatics. any help here would be appreciated
oh, and the guitar i built is still having tiny problems. i made the nut by hand, and while some of the strings are still too high up (action is too high), the low e is already too low. is there any way to fix that without taking the nut off? or even any way to switch a nut without doing too much damage?
speaking of that, i'm really not satisfied with what i'm doing musically right now. despite what i want, i'm constantly drifting even deeper into experimental-noise-ambient sort of things. while i find those strangely cleansing emotionally they are even less appealing to someone not in that particular music genre... should i just let it go and not worry, or see if i can sort of try to mine more positive emotions for a change?
also, on the less serious, my nethack character is having issues. i'm playing a tourist just for shits and i cant get anything better then a dwarvish shortsword... i'm now actually talented enough to #enhance it, but i think it would be a waste, except i'm not sure if i dont #enhance it, i'll survive. any clues?
anyways, thanks for the offer, i'd ask you to mail me some answers but my email server is down, and i cant get to it since i'm at parents.
well, sorry i won't be able to help you then...any chance that you'll answer my question about why you felt it necessary to comment on my level of common sense just because i asked for some help? probably not, considering the fact that hardly anyone around here seems to be able to comment on anything without being a smartass.
or angelfmercy, if thats what you want to call him. Or email one of us, btu our servers are down. dammit edgar, that server better be up asap.
Ok, heres miriku aid [tm]: compiler and router : damned if i know. just fix it guitar: i dont know what its called in english, but you can "polish" the thing thats in norwegian is called a "chair", that is the part from the headwhere all the strings "line up" down to size. I did that on my old accoustic cause the strings were too high. music: still havent dloaded that new song. nethack: enhance it and hope for the best, trust me
"Or email one of us, btu our servers are down. dammit edgar, that server better be up asap."
In light of email servers being down how is he supposed to contact one of you? Oh, of course. He could post on the messageboard that some of the admins read.
davad, sorry I ment to contact you. . .I wasn't able to confirm your email adress with the one listes on your account. . .now that I know it was you I'll have them down by end of day
ps. The common sense jab was aimed at me not you (read signature)
AdamTT, congratulations for being the most immature admin of a larger site I have ever met. I saw your post over at Deskmod.com and what can I say, your actions speak for themselves. I believe this community would be a better place without people like you. YOU truly disgust me with the manner you conduct yourself.
I have some old stuff left here. Skins from the past, but they wont last long here. I feel sorry for the other admins here at customize, cause this place could be something. With admins like you this place aint worth visiting. thanks and goodbye.

adam: on the guitar -> thats the problem. it's the wooden little stripe that's on the end of the neck right before the head. i dug the divits for each string individually and while some are still too high, i think the low-E is already too low. carlos got around that on his bass just by shaving paper underneath, but thats a bit more ghetto then i want to go right now. i'm trying to think if there's a different, more clever solution
