new site / web page load order

Hey everyone, wahey, I have a new(ly upgraded) site up.....

Annoyingly, it seems that my little Flash spot at the top is consistently one of the last things to load. Can anyone verify? And does anyone have much experience with image/swf load order on websites? I've seen some javascript solutions but they're not particularly elegant.

And from a usability point of view I'd be interested to see what people think of the use of the long page and inline frame use which I agree is not popular (or standard) -- especially in light of tabbed browsers.
