Hey, my internet seems to be screwed up. I'm on a wireless router, i'm accessing it through my laptop's wireless card, and i can't get to certain sites, for example; the nika link syretip posted, the queen 50 cent link, and i can't go to http://www.virtualplastic.net which really bugs me. I connected to my neighbors wireless and it worked fine, so must be our network. My dad's computer can't get to those sites either and he's hardwired into the router. I rebooted the router and modem and my computer, still broken. Any ideas?

control panel->network connections->local area connection-> then click on properties then go down to internet protocol and click properties and you can pick your own dns :)
yea, i checked my router settings, i think it may be that my router has taken a liking to a new crappy dns. What's a good DNS to change to though? Also, how do i refresh/renew my ip in the cmd?
I refreshed my ip, changed my DNS, rebooted my router, computer, and modem, my internet is fine but virtualplastic.net is still not working. That's the one site i really need to go on :P. What the fuck? Why just that site?
nope, same thing. Doesn't work. And i tried googles caching system, but it seems that google doesn't cache the images, just the references, so the layout is all messed up, and all i see are links.
If you are using Internet Explorer, try using Netscape (http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/) I used to have a similar problem, but since I began using netscape the problem disappeared...
i'm using firefox, i've tried firefox, flock, and IE. Nothing. And it's only one site. Well a couple others don't work, but that's the only one i really want right now.
well, it also has java(script) and activex blocked, you think that has something to do with it?
hrmm, how do i change my ip? doesn't refreshing it do that? Well it would be my router ip wouldn't it? Because all machines on my network seem to not work on it.
