I always thought it was a bit odd taht in America everyone seems happy to spend their first year at university shacked up with some stranger.

What if they're a sociopath? What if they snore? What if they have an unhealthy obsession with Bufy the Vampire Slayer?

meh, living w/ roommates isn't that bad. I currently live w/ 5 other people, all of which are uni grads. Our landlord does a good job of keeping out the riff raff =)

I'm in college now, and rooming with some of my high school friends, so that's working out pretty well.

No worries about the aforementioned sociopaths. Well, maybe. They are crazy...

I'm in college, but I live with mommy and daddy. (laundry gets done, free food, gifts, etc.)

Due to the lack of space at MTU I actually have 2 roomates. Both of which are pretty cool. BTW thats a pretty clean dorm room
