so i'm kind of new to this, but what're the tools/methods to modifying an existing visual style? please let me know, for i want to customize my desktop furthor. :)
I recommend you buy *cough* *cough* Stylebuilder as its much easier to navigate etc etc, although i use resedit personally because i dont support cracks, warez and h4cks :O
Advent: In ResHacker, if you access the the VS's configuration files (ini), you will only be able to see Hex. In ResEdit, it allows you to view the text itself or the Hex. Whichever you prefer.
Advent: Exactly what felix said. ResEdit and ResHacker do it's justice, and you can make your own visual styles using both. Why pay 20 dollars for something you can do for free?
Also, forgot to add: Stylebuilder's learning curve is also higher then that of ResHacker and ResEdit. I am also still fresh to making/modding visual styles.
