If you hate bush, you are automatically 67% cooler. Even if you have no idea what the hell is going on with our position in the world. Just hate Bush, and you should sail though life pretty easily.
"if bush is behind it, theres always a better way..."
Even a stopped watch...
But seriously, "Someone I dislike is for something, so it's OBVIOUSLY a bad idea" is at best comical, and at worst the same kind of jingoistic idiocity that the Bush haters like to accuse conservatives of. Come back in a few years with better argument skills.
whats everyones opinion after the address last night?
as for my bush comment...it is rather broad, and i kinda sound as though i have green day-like level of political knowledge...i assure those who question it that i made the statement with the utmost knowledge of the situation AND current political conditions...

@status: how can i possibly take you seriously when you use a word like jingoistic and then immediately follow it with a word that you made up? (idiocity)
@curre: do you just read my name on a post and just start flaming right then?
@everyone: politics are fucking depressing to discuss. lets just make art from now on.
thanks, tho i never wanted to burn anyone...i normally dont take a stand on politics just for that reason...i have opinions sure, but arguing about politics til i'm blue in the face will get me only that, a blue face...there arent any ideas that enjoy 100% approval, and we're all smart people, perfectly capable of being friendly until the end of time...politics just isnt a friendly thing to discuss...
@nitzua19, if you can't handle the truthiness of my statement, that's your problem. If you're not in to the whole playful Colbert style of discourse, fine, but don't be an anal grammar-nazi unless you're prepared for me to take a fine-toothed dictionary to every post you make from now on.
Way to dodge my fucking point too, there, bucko.
I really fucking hate these politics threads, and I wish Max would quit posting them. It creates a platform for a bunch of partisan idiots who know nothing about the issues to stir up bullshit, then Max ends up having to step in and either close them or threaten to. It's the same fucking people spouting the same swill on both sides every week, it accomplishes nothing, it changes no minds, and it fosters ill-will in the community.
man status you gotta calm down bro... I dont want you ending up like this guy. It's not a thread like someone is ganging up on you. Everyone just has a different viewpoint on politics but we can still discuss it without hating each other or wanting to kill each other.
I just get tired of seeing a lot of people who normally get along cutting in to each other all the time in these threads. That ain't our scene.
agreed. politics and subjects of similar nature can drum up heated debate very quickly, and it's inevitable between people on here, because i believe most of us that post are smart, opinionated, and passionate about most everything we do/think...when we arent arguing, we make great artwork with those qualities...i'm not saying we cant ever discuss these types of things, but i doubt educated people could do so without some kind of conflict...
Yeah, nitzua19 was referring to the word "idiocity", which is a reference to Junk English (By Ken Smith, read it if you can find it). The book's slogan was, "I am surrounded by idiocity". Idiocity isn't actually a word, which lends to the ironification of the phrase.
People always have a hard time figuring out when I'm being tongue-in-cheek.
