nitzua nice setup mate, I dont know if i'd have the comments section touching the sections on the left though, seeing as none of the others touch ya know?
dont mean to double post, but you need a block button on ya profile. Couldn't see one on there. They can delete ya account if you dont have one on there, just a heads up.
@jay_dee: thanks, and yeaah.... i know their TOS, i just dont want to... guess i really should, huh? im pretty sure that goes for the ads too... but i dont wanna add em back
If memory serves me correctly, six or eight months ago, Myspace lowered the age limit from sixteen to fourteen; as a result, all profiles where the user's age is either fourteen or fifteen is automatically set to private. So if you want to un-privatize it, you've got to set your age to be sixteen or older :)
nitzua19_ I think the problem is that the images in the comments stretch out the entire page and distort it. I know there is a code to fix that I just forgot it.
simplexdesigns.c:o:m? "Every age has it's heroes, and unususal times call for unusual heros..."
@spawndemon: the pictures in the comment box are already resized with code tho...IE views it correctly, and it worked on ff last week just fine...who knows...
The comments section can be a real bitch. The way I handled it was by basically getting out of all the tables and tds and trs, then putting all my CSS and HTML in, and then going back in and opening the tags back up.
That way, I can put a div before I open them back up (which will include the comments), and control it with some CSS.
another thing i should add is, when i went back and pasted the original layout that edited, the comments table was still fd...its almost like ff read it to be one width for a month or so, and then one day just switched to reading it's width as auto or some other px value...in IE, the comments section seems to be thinner or closer to the correct size, and also lined up with the above sections, but the padding between the right and left side is the same as it is on ff...
Actually nituza, you saying that reminded me. The Myspace comment section handles really long, unbroken strings (like that link in your first comment) just as that - a really long, unbroken string. Same with wide pictures.
It might just be that it's making that table wider to accomodate for a really long string. Just look to see if anyone typed something really long as one string, and delete that comment. (hint: first one)
Wow, thanks nituza, that's a hell of a compliment. I wish I could have rolled out a new one recently, but school is eating up my time... yours looks really great though.
@biftek - Yeah, myspace's little glitches are a bitch, lol.
atm it only displays properly in firefox. i have another one i was using but i was getting tired of it, so i made a new one. heres what it USED to look like up to about a week ago:
don't be talking smack bout my boy dprj419, he be da most coolest perzon evar.
....but, yea, dprj419, why waste your time comming on here just to say that? shouldnt you be, like, well, I can't come up with anything clever that you should be doing, but it woulda been good.
