actually i got some info on that.I think hl eats up alot of your resources and your hd probably goes apeshit when u go in and out of cs or dod (especially source) so its probably bad memory or jsut general system instability , failure from psu cpu irq conflict google memtest86 and test it or might have turn ur settings too high for your hardware to handle.This happeneed to me and i end finding out my settings were too much for my hardware and its possible it cou;ld be something other than this too So keep asking around too I hope some of this helps you.

i've also heard of bugs with the new radar.. not sure bout restarting tho..

now my display driver shows an unbelivable amount of resolutions and refresh rates. It must be my display drivers.
