new here, trouble with XP and rainlendar

Hi, I,m totally new here, so new I can hardly handle this french keyboard I,m working on. I,ve bought myself my first laptop and have downloaded rainlendar which I LOVE. But i,m having a little trouble downloading skins.. some I download work perfectly but the one I really want to use is:

it loads fine apart frm the reminder page which is just a blank grey bar, can you help?
Also I,d like to customise my windows xp wallpaper icons etc. where do i look for that, s that a theme, or what is it under? i do apreciate your help and i,m so sorry i,m such a novice,
