Do I think that the Bush did the right thing by attacking people that had nothing to do with it? No.
America had no right to go after countries that had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks.
Muslims in general are not to blame for this. Radicalists are, but... America is to blame for this as well. It was well known by the Bush administration that Radicalists (known as terrorists in English.) were going to attack the World Trade Center. The CIA knew it, the FBI knew it, the NSA knew it.
What America did was repeat the mistakes of the past. Back in World War II, the American government got word that the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Habor. The government at that time dismissed it and basically said "They can't do that, we're too big." Well, they did. The Bush Administration did the same thing with 9/11/2001.
For over a year, the government KNEW that they were going to get attacked, did nothing about it. They had the Al Queda members in CUSTODY months before it happened, but failed to charge them with anything.
So, basically what I am saying; Placing the blame on a single religion is moot and makes you look drastically stupid. Putting the blame on a single nation is stupid and moot as well.

Also, the FBI and NSA was tracking two members of Al Queda and could have grabbed them in Quala Lampur (sp?) when they had meeting to talk about the plan for 9/11.

The U.S.A. (most powerfull and technologically advanced war machine in the world) NORAD system's whole purpose is to stop things like 9/11 from happening. They didnt stop it from happening. There are 2 reasons I can think of: 1. They were not doing their job properly, 2. They were told not to do their job.
Seeing as the pilots are extremely well trained and know wtf is going on (they wouldnt be on the job otherwise, right?) I find it difficult to believe they didnt do their job.
So I think its more likely they got told to stand down. (More likely they carried out their orders, whatever they were)

The US govt has funded and trained Al Qaeda, its members and leaders.
