Is there a cross-hatch-ish pattern going on in the background of the userpane? Because if there is, you can barely see it... but it looks good (to me) so bring it out some.

I second quint and fractal. Also, a little tiny bit greener and lighter on the window top, its too dreary grey compared to the startmenu, maybe make it mach the active tasbar button more? If the taskbar task is an example of the focused widow, of course. Maybe frutiger linotype as a font?

Forget about the font comment, i forgot that can be changed easily enough. Meant to erase it before I posted.

maybe some smaller fonts?
