Installing Skins on Rainlendar
|
Have been searching for a while now and trying to find out how you install skins
The help file in the program says double click the .r2skin
The skins I have downloaded do not have these in them just a configuration file and png images.
Is there somewhere that I can go here to find out what to do
Thanks

Just put the folder of the skin you downloaded inside the skin directory. Then in Rainlendar, refresh. The name of the skin will show. Select it.

Done that to about 4 or 5 folders and it still only shows the original Shadow4 theme

Hmm, I've ditched Rainlendar for quite some time now, plus switched to Litestep who has it built-in, but as far I can remember it was program files/rainlendar/skins/x.
Make sure that the .ini of this x skin is inside this x folder and not inside some x subfolder, as it can occur when you unzip stuff.
If not that, I don't know what could be, just know that there were new versions of the program and never tried them out, but doubt it changed this. Hope you can make it work.

Not sure, but have you tried to right click your current skin. Then choose "Refresh all" and then the new skins should show up in the list, if you have them in your skins folder.
