Well, the difference is what trub said is actually truthful, plus his opinion. Where he blew it is the context in which he used the word "nigger." His post should be removed for that reason alone. But, the moderators of these forums seem to have issues with what is morally acceptable, and what isn't.

Besides, James Brown would NOT be a nigger if he didn't do all the negative acts of crime while alive. I actually have many good black friends that don't act like violent savages like this loser had done before dying. The word nigger actually is supposed to define an ignorant person of ANY color; not just black. The KKK are even bigger niggers than Brown was. And that's the truth.
I don't think it's just the use of nigger, like our new sheriff (I pity the fool who doesn't get the reference), but generally being abusive, just joining to post that, and on top of all that, caps and exclamation points beyond standard readability.
Of course James Brown wasn't the nicest guy on the planet, and far from the most stable. Certainly part is was genetics, part his upbringing, but at least as much was decades as a superstar. We tend to forgive trespasses of such stars in large part because we helped create the environment that got them to go a little over. In addition, out memories tend to be fond ones, as we were involved as the audience played, not the cop who took him in for being an ass on some drugs.
He certainly, however, was exceptionally influential in music; and was a hell of a performer. I got to see him just a few years ago. There was a near block-long line at Nu-Way for an hour or two, as well.
