i like pizza with: chicken with bah-bah-coo on one side the opened up lettuce coo-cummas bananas and bad apples and jello i prefer it served on a dirty cutting board covered in chicken juice
I HAS SO MUCH FLAVING!
when im eating it, i say "and do this" with every bite, one the last bite, i like to say "THIS IS WONDERFUL"
I'm just a fan of meat and cheese. A local pizza eatery has a specialty pizza called the "Carnivore"; it's just a regular pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni, ham, sausage, bacon, and ground beef. Delish. I had a slice tonight, actually.
Chop some nice small tomatoes, fresh basil, Spanish red pepper and garlic into small pieces. Mix this up with some good oilve oil, sea salt and fresh grinded pepper. Use a thin layer of pasta with some great buffalo mozzarella and spread the mixture out on top. Voila, the best pizza you ever ate!
the only pizza I can have is gluten free pizza. A pizza joint around where I go to school started serving gluten free pizza, and I think it's safe to say I'm in a pizza heaven. usually I just go for cheese or sausage, because I'm just that exciting.
• 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil • 1/2 medium-size red onion, thinly sliced • Salt and pepper • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped • 1 large bunch of spinach, stems removed and leaves washed, 8 to 10 cups • 1 teaspoon minced lemon zest • Pizza Dough, ready to rollout • Garlic Oil • 6 Kalamata olives, pitted and coarsely chopped • 3 ounces feta cheese, crumbled, about 1 1/2 cups • 1/4 pound mozzarella cheese, grated, about 1 1/2 cups • 1/2 ounce Parmesan cheese, grated, about 3 tablespoons • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Heat 2 teaspoons of the olive oil in a saute pan. Add the red onion, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and a few pinches of pepper; saute over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, until tender. Add half of the garlic and saute for i minute. Transfer to a bowl.
Heat the remaining teaspoon of olive oil in the pan. Wilt the spinach over high heat with 1/4 teaspoon salt, a few pinches of pepper, and the remaining garlic. When the spinach is wilted but still bright green, in about i minute, remove it from the pan and place it in a strainer to cool. Squeeze out the excess moisture with your hands, then coarsely chop and toss with the lemon zest.
Preheat oven to 500°F.
Roll out the dough and place it on a lightly oiled pizza pan or well-floured wooden peel; brush with the Garlic Oil. Spread the onion on the dough, followed by the spinach. Sprinkle the olives over the spinach, follow with the crumbled feta, then add the mozzarella cheese.
Bake the pizza, in the pan or on a preheated pizza stone, for 8 to 12 minutes, until the crust is golden and crisp.
Remove it from the oven and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and fresh rosemary.
well, if I'm outta cash to order pizza (yes, sometimes I'm that broke) my fav snack lately is a slice of coon chese oven toasted til bubbly on top of a slice of bread. it's cheap and cheesy :)
my fav is the euro from pizza hut. Unfortunately, its only sold in pakistan. It has Mushrooms, Peppers, extra cheese (Mozzarella, Moteray Jack, chedder) chicken tandoor, beef sausage and a whole bunch of other goodness
@AlbinoAsian, yeah they are, but I also always burn a few layers of skin off the roof of my mouth. They say hot meal ready in 2 minutes... not it'll be done in 2 then you let sit for 1 then you wait another 1 or 2 till it's not skin-burning-off-hot! They bug me. >_<
Aphaits, But what IS the "tasty cheese" part that's combined with mozzarella?
it's just another way of saying 'original' or 'plain'. there are better australian made cheddar cheeses though - beq, devondale, bodalla. this thread has compelled me to have pizza tomorrow!
ahhh, a big ole' NY pepperoni pizza was one of the best ones :) the last time I had them was around 8 years ago (or is it 10?) trips to the US is expensive :P
@Pyro_: Woohoo, vegetarian here too. Anyway, mushrooms, onions, mock duck (wheat gluten, seitan, whatever you want to call it) is pretty great on pizza. I am a big fan of pizza they make at a local shop that has mock duck, bell peppers, pineapple, soy cheese, and bbq sauce, pretty delicious. They also make a baked potato pizza, which sounds really awkward, but it is strange, yet good.
wow...we need to get together and have a giant custo lan party, we can then proceed to drink alot of energy drinks and order excessive amounts of our favorite pizza...
You know I once saw in a Nickelodeon magazine (shows how long ago it was) a peanut butter chocolate chip marshmellow cheese pizza. At the time I wanted to try it. o_O =X
D'oh, I looked for a reference to cheese crust and somehow missed your post ..the first one. But upon having it my brother and I discovered that the cheese in the crust tasted funny...
I always have a hard time picking one and I dont have a fav... so I have a D20 with me to the store and I look at their menu and roll the die and see what I get... xD
No but seriously, I've never had a fav I guess anything with hot sauce and other flaming hot ingredients... mmm....
