looking for avant garde gothic alternate..anybody

I'd like a peice of that.

Ive been looking because i would love to get a piece of it as well
but it looks like the only way to get it is to spend about 30 bucks. its a shame.

It wouldn't too hard to mutilate straight up Avant in a font creator to make a fake version.

i too have wanted a font like that forever. i've always dug anything with 60's/70's styling.

colossus i know but i'm kind of a typografy freak i'm doing my end work for this year around the "helvetica type family" ...besides its not that eazy i think to fake all the ligatures and stuf and still keep that smooth feel to it ...i tryed doing it with the original but get aliasing quick

would be verry nice to have the avant garde in my collection,missing this one keeps my collection from being complete :D

Hmm. I can't help but think there's a nicely styled similar font like that somewhere on a free site like DaFont.com. But I could've seen it years ago on some random site, I suggest digging for a similar one.

And most importantly should you find one let us know. ;D

Could always buy it, it's not too expensive as far as fonts go.
