i've been using these for about 2 years now. here's an old thread on the subject, if anyones interested. ps: ego, didn't you post somewhere a while back telling us how to open and edit cursor files? i'd be interested in how to do that.

The best way to make a cursor in this days is: Create the cursor in png then a) use cursorXP to create a pimp lookin cursorset b) open them in Microangelo or Axyalis then export 'em as .cur (or .ani if you made the png animated) take a look at the 3 apps mentioned in here: http://www.freefunfiles.com/tutorial/tutorials/myspace-curso rs.html

Thx Custo-mates, using the Micron now :)

I've found that ArtCursors is the best for editing existing .cur files. (It's on Ego's link.) You know I forgot to include my cursors. Well, I didn't upload them, I was curious if any one wanted an upload?

Thanks PJ. And those are the ones I use for every setup. I thought about matching them this time. But frankly I don't care. =P (Besides the plain old white and black show up every where nicely.)

@dust: you bet man, i'm a [egol]one man army[/egol] atm tho, so the more i pile onto that project the longer it will take ;)

Here's another nice minimal set. I made this installer for it.

Didn't see your post UAC. I thank you, and they are finished and uploaded now. I actually was a huge fan of those cursors and after using those for so long I wanted smaller and decided to make my own. Though come to think of it, I had lost those cursors and didn't know who made them. Thanks for mentioning them. :)

All those old windows resources are so funny eh. like the dinosaurs, and the drum, and all the hands... So Fucking Ugly! Yet, too funny not to use. So hilarious they didn't update them (at some point after 95) Does anyone know if they are in Vista?
01:51 am (2 years ago )
Yeah, I'm on Vista and saw it.
02:00 am (2 years ago )
omfg what about the barber pole? *snicker* (who would use that? other than a barber?)
03:39 am (2 years ago )
hey, i used the barber pole once upon a time!

I'm hooked on Sryo's "minimal" cursor set. They took a while to grow on me, but I vastly prefer them to anything else now. The default XP set seems almost... unwieldy in comparison.
03:51 am (2 years ago )
Custo'd to the max! Can't be usin' no default cursors. Pfft.
05:14 am (2 years ago )
I've been using the gnome cursor set for a long time now, probably 2+ years. Ever since the first time I used Ubuntu I've loved them.
