I know everyone is excited to really get going on the project, so I wanted to give a quick update to where things are currently at.
Imrik has been working hard on the GAIA template. I saw the latest preview today and I don't want to hype it too much... but you guys will be extremely happy with it.
He actually has final exams now but he hopes to have the templates done by the end of next week. Hopefully I will be able to get the private groups working properly (there is a bug with the invites) in the next day or so we can get all the participants a sneak peak too.
Also, egolatra has been doing a great job getting everyone signed up for their part of the suite. If you want to be involved in this amazing project, be sure to sign up. Remember, its open to everyone!
erag - you can do whatever you want to. The site design is about the only exception since we are only having one, based on Imrik's template, and Steve and I will need to be the ones to implement it since we don't have a full site skinning system yet. Everything else, you can skin just as easily as anyone else.
Pyro - I imagine most people will want to match Imrik's template to a certain extent so people can use it with the other submissions, but there is no rule that this has to be the case.
