When I change VS, everything changes great, but my filemanager (explorer.exe) back, forward, up, folders, view icons.. they stay the same. 2 Questions:
1-- How can I change them?
2-- I also use Firefox.. will there be a way I can use the bmps used in my Firefox skin, for example, to replace the ones I have in my filemanager window?
I'm open to any methods, reshacker or third party skinning program (whichever you think is best in terms of freedom and ease)
thanks a lot to anyone who took the time to read and or reply!
I like Y'z Toolbar, as it's pretty simple to use, compared to other methods.
Each toolbar is made up of two strips of the 40 or so icons (hover and not hover), ie, just an image. I guess it's easier just to try it than to explain.
I downloaded and used y'z toolbar since you mentioned it and it worked great at first but the icons keep resetting themselves on new instances of explorer windows.
btw, does anyone know how to get rid of the topleft icon in the titlebar of all windows?
If what mailmerge is saying is true, and the "strips" of images he's talking about are what I think they are, then you can easily reshack the explorer.exe bitmaps. They're actually in shell32.dll, bitmaps 214 - Large, mouseover 215 - Large, normal 216 - Small, mouseover 217 - Small, normal I don't think theres any reshack way to change the pressed button configuration though.
