need help to get into customization!

for some reason whenever i tried to search for ".guikit" in google it would come up with somethin called MATHEMATICA

next question:

how comes when i start an app like aMSN the color/look fits the theme I did set but whenever I go into iTunes or either click on the desktop, the top menu bar will always come back to the original OS X look? Any clues?

Try logging out, or relaunch your apps after applying the theme. The menubar is actually themed per app, and you have to restart apps for the theme to take effect.

Though getting the default menubar shouldn't happen to Finder, since Shapeshifter restarts it after a theme is applied...
