1. I put Findexer.dll plus the .bat's in %windir%\System32\ 2. I run register.bat 3. I restart the machine 4. I see no FIndexer in the toolbars-menu 5. What the funk is going on?

in explorer window go to edit --> view --> finderxer if it not showing up in the last, are u using an alternate shell? if so, you may need to set explorer as ur main shell, turn it on (it should not appear in the list), and restart to ur alternate shell
