pep and nitz rebuilt most of it, basing it on mad's greenius. it's not quite ready for a proper release (i'm not so sure dark visual styles ever are, anymore), but a bunch of people have been asking for it. so, here you are.
add on and reupload as you like. nitzua suggested a substyle with a white window, which i think would look cool.
it'll probably see a proper release once it's touched up more, but i don't see any harm in passing it around now, as is.

hover / pressed states for the caption buttons and start button. mdi caption buttons, tray chevron, higher contrast in the checkboxes, a quick radiobutton, changed some classic colors so the 3dcc isn't entirely flat.
that's all, off the top of my head. i still plan on updating it a bit more and reuploading, but there's no point in making everyone wait when i'm not sure when i'll be finished in the first place.
somehow the download doesn't work for me. everytime I click "click here to start your download.." it says "your download is starting" but nothing happens :/. save target as... doesn't work either. it would be great if someone could re-upload the skin (even rapidshare is fine for me). and yeah, thanks to akka, nitzua & naalo.
