Account removal

you can't. just leave it, and consider it gone. it's essentially the same thing - no one will know it's there one way or the other

But it shows up on Google and I don't want that.

Nothing you can do about it. The administrators of the site, I don't think have ever implemented a way to delete the account. Even with the old Customize.

You can however do what I did. To get rid of my old account, I just deleted every submission and picture, then left it to die. It's the only thing you can do. :( Sorry.

Just leave it, and it will come up as a lower ranking on google.
