Google 'Window Blinds'.
If you don't want to pay for anything, google 'Windows Visual Style How-To'

Here's a link to Stardock's page for WindowBlinds:

WindowBlinds

If you don't wanna cough up the $20, then I'd follow synorgy's advice and try visual styles. Good luck.

Btw, to install visual styles, you'll still need some sort of program. StyleXP and TuneUp Utilities are among the most popular... so unless you take unspeakable routes to obtain such programs, you're still gonna have to pay for something.

Well you did neglect to mention that a uxtheme.dll patch is free and will allow you to apply visual styles without a program.

i noticed a screenshot on devart of someone using windowblinds and the corners of the windows were rounded and not jagged at all. seems you can do more in windowblinds ? than just visual styles? i'm not sure how it actually works anyone who uses it want to give me a short explanation?

This article covers some basics of WindowBlinds.

With WindowBlinds you have many advantages over a theme hack, such as adjustable transparency, skin coloring, etc.

Any other question, please feel free to ask. :)

I read an informative article (by someone who appeared to be well informed about it) and it said that windowblinds does not take more memory than using msstyles... yet I see forum posters complaining that it does... what do you say?

Nice article ID. I have never had a problem with windowblinds. And will always be a supporter of it. And yes it 's worth the money.I personally have object desktop which is awesome. You get all the goodies such as right-click, a text editor, windowfx, object sweeper, iconx, and many more. It's 50$ but one of the best things i have ever bought for my pc. Just putting in my 2 cents about it.
