ambulance says:

1. does anyone know how to get your own image to show up as the urlbar?

2. does anyone know how to do the same for tabs or at least just change the color?

what im looking to do is something similar to pepij's latests shots seen here http://customize.org/screenshots/54079
and here http://customize.org/screenshots/55536

im really curious about the first screenshot where he has text in the urlbar as well. im guessing i will probably just have to pm him about this if noone else knows

also one last question. is there anyplace that has like a catalog of userchrome tweaks and codes?

akka says:

as per one and two: i just use the winestripe theme, which uses the system images in your vs. makes things easier:

haven't tried running it with firefox 3 yet, though.

nitzua says:

so what exactly does that plug-in do? if it allows for full display of vs elements in ff (dropdown boxes, arrows, etc) that'd be real awesome and i'd be very irked that i didn't know of it earlier...userchrome hacking is tedious at best.

yeah that theme doesnt work in ff v3. i might rollback if it does what nitzua suggested. right now i cant seem to understand why my tab colors wont change. i have what i think is the right code, but for some reason its not changing the colors.

so far the best way to find userchrome codes is just using the stylish plugin and going through others codes to find new stuff, but other than that i find it extremely hard to find what all the codes are and what they do.

I just use Winestripe theme too...it might be a good idea just to ask for the userchrome.css file from Pep.
