Desktop Icons help
|
Can someone please tell me how I can get desktop icons to be displayed in a litestep theme. The icons need to be draggable and clickable on the desktop.
Is there some sort of module that I can add to one of my themes - desktop icons are a must have for me.

i had code for showing and hiding desktop icons in one of my themes. I formated 2 days ago so i don't have it anymore :(

@qslig:I will check the austerity code soon, but I would want to drag icons about like in explorer - austerity does not offer that!

i don't know if you can drag or select icons in litestep.

I am sure it can be done...will let you know if the Austerity stuff is of any help.
In the meantime if you find anything then post it!

I found this in the jdesk.dll readme. I think this could be what your looking for:
jDeskDesktopFolder ""
- If used and set to a valid directory, it will
enable drag and drop of files onto the jDesk
desktop area. Any file dropped on the desktop
will be automatically copied into the folder
specified. If the file exists, you will be
prompted to overwrite. You can not move files,
or create shortcuts. Currently dragging folders
do not work.

So firstly I need to load the jDesk module into my theme?
Then what do I have to edit to enable "DeskDesktopFolder" and how is the directory set?
