I'm not sure this is correct but I placed both the zip file and the opened content of the zip file in the skins folders c:\Programs\rainlender2\skins\?????
You should place both of them in the folder. I had the same problem where the skin did not show up. I restarted my computer and it finally showed up. I hope this helps
