I would love to help out with this whole project, but I'm rather limited as far as Windows custo'ing goes. I'd like to make this an area to 'sign up' for ports to the GNU/Linux platform.

I would suspect that this would be built on GNU/Linux using the GTK+ toolkit. Theming GTK is where I feel we should be focusing first, and it's also where I'm pretty awful (at least as far a pixmap stuff goes) so if anyone can do that, we'd be keeping up with the windows side of things.
I can help and I know that Fratrip has already requested to do a port (assuming with a GTK theme and Emerald theme, at least). I was also thinking of doing a GTK theme and Emerald theme that would be an alternative to the others and yet would still fit (perhaps a bit more minimal or something more "baroqueish").
I already started a Gtk-Theme matching the Gaia08 Style. And I will overlook Fratrips Port and fix it right now, because there were some glitches which shouldn´t been there. As i am aware of he is currently into porting the Icons.
Hey guys, I'm very new to customize but I very appreciate this project and if its possible I want to be a part of it. Unfortunately I dont have any experience in skining right now, but I started learning it (began with GDM Themes and will continue with GTK). Because I'm a Linux user (Ubuntu) I want to help you guys here in the Linux section. Keep it up to make such beatiful designs guys. Greetz Skull
