Somethig like beginner guide...

Hello everyone, I'm new both here on customize.org and in litestep, I always liked a bit of DeskMod but using the explorer, had heard of litestep, but just downloaded it recently and could not imagine that would be so complicated, when I do deskmod in windows and always get good results using only XP themes and programs like dock shell32 modification, but now I started in litestep am having several difficulties. How not to be like crap all the time asking, I wonder if there is "somethig like beginner's guide" and I can read to help me learn the basics.

I know that here is not the right place (it never is), but I appreciate anyone who can help me.
