On my desktop, when I move my cursor over a file, it highlights it DARK navy blue. It's dark enough that I can't read what the contents are. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to change the color, before I throw this thing away?!

HELP!! Was I hallucinating?? I SWEAR when I rebooted last nite, the hover color was gone! Today, it's back! I even went back in and checked, nothing was changed. I rebooted again... it's still doing it!!! Please, help... I'm about to be bald from pulling my hair out!
