while i can't stand rap (and when i say "rap" i mean what you hear on the radio, see on t.v., and get shoved down your throat) i agree with max. if you don't like something, it's never a good idea to be an antagonist about it and piss people off.
im not a big fan of rap either, but why wasn't it country, rock, or metal, or techno...etc....why does everyone always pick on rap? I bet the person who made that pole is just a stereo-typical rap hater who thinks all rapers smoke weed and say 'yo wassup dogg'
Rap sucks, but I think more people that listen to trance, metal, or funk smoke more than people who listen to rap. I'm just not into the whole "gangsta" sheeit.
hating ones choice of music is like hating ones race...they both are part of their character. and more ppl dont listen to metal than rap, maybe your just trying to ignore that fact. i dunno rap disgusts me. all they can think of to say is something about them beochs and all there $$. though do not get this confused with hip hop witch is a form of expression and poetry, which i DO like.... i also like allmost every genre of electronic musik and i like Emo & indie
just end it already! but on one last note, people should be more tolerant, accept that there are differences amongts us all and at some point in life be open to new things. Lets get back to art.

yeah. in my opinion I'd rather listen to funk, or raggae/funk (like 311, I love 311) but, the best rap is the rap that isn't played on the radio. Like, when I was 11 or 12, Tony Hawks first game was hot stuff. Every song on that game was phat...and it had all types- rap, rock, punk, heavy, light, and this one Primus song that was just hilarious...the radio just plays mainstream rap, and the people who hear that (i guess) say 'all rap must be this retarded' and stereotype the rest of it. but...i guess thats the way it goes.
