I'm having trouble getting TClock to work. I did what the instructions said, putting the three files into the same folder, then attempting to run it. When I clicked on the .exe, it would load, but then all of a sudden stop. Nothing would happen. When I look in the menu of the things i have running on my computer, however, "Tclock" is one of the programs "running". Even though the actual program isn't showing up. I tried extracting ALL contents of the .zip into one folder, and trying to run it then as well, but I got the same result. I'm sure a lot of people have run into this problem, and I'd like to know how to get TClock to work. But if not, are there any other programs that are similar to TClock? I'd like to change my "Start" button most of all. I'm kind of limited since i'm only on 98. ( Another fact, I DID download the version compatible with 98 and IE4 ). I'd appreciate you guys' input on this, I'm sure I sound pretty stupid even posting this, but oh well.
I'm running 98, and yeah, I tried right clicking, it's like the program never even opened. The only proof that is IS open some way, is when you hit ctrl+alt+delete and get the menu of running programs.
one of the programs running is interfering with tclock, i had the same problem when i ran windowblinds.I fixed by closing the stardock tray monitor application
when you double click on the tclock icon a program is not suposed to pop up, try it again and watch your clock, if nothing happens right click on the clock itself and you should get an option for tclock shit....
Are you running, or have you ever run, any Stardock apps? DesktopX or ObjectBar in particular. They will install an app called traysever.exe that interferes with t-clock.
lol, i like that, reminds me of the mcarthy hearings
"are you sir running, or have you ever ran, any stardock apps?" "i challange the validity of this commity, i have my constitutional rights!" "just answer the question sir"
hm. strangely reminscent of the present, just s/communist/terrorist/g and presto, welcome to reality
Uninstalled Windowblinds, then searched fo "traysever.exe" to make sure it wasn't on my computer. No results came up, so...I tried using Tclock after that. Still, not working. ... Hm.
trayserVer.exe, look somewhere in program files/shared or common folders, plus if you type msconfig in the run box, there's problably some command to run it you can disable.
WOOOOOO! That worked, Lol. I deleted trayserver.exe, unchecked i in msconfig, etc. TClock seems to be working now. Thanks for all you guys' input. AND DIE, WINDOWBLINDS/STARDOCK
