Icon Changing Programs...ARG!

Does anyone know of an icon changing program that changes the default folder icon while in another shell on Win2k? I tried microangelo and icon packager, and they change the default folder icon just fine....but only under explorer. If I'm using another shell, it won't work. I can go through and change all of the folder icons manually, but that'll get old REAL quick.

Just so ya know, the shell I was using was geoshell, now I'm using bluebox, same problem under both.

--critical for 0 damage! feel the pain!

I think the only way to do that is to change your shell32.dll to one with the new icons hacked into it.

yeah, what chavo said. those proggies are possibly doing a doge and either pulling the icon directly from a system file, or have the folder icon hardcoded in, rather than use the system icon list.

whoo, i got me an url. http://www.customize.org/details/17030
