I use to be able to double click on a .mp3 file and it would add to the end of my playlist, but ever since I d/l the new winamp 2.81, when I double click a mp3 file it clears my list and just plays that song
hi everyone... ok i have winamp 3.0 and when i open my playlist for a song or movie, it never stops shuffling throught the whole list and doesn't stop ti play the song can anyone help??
There won`t be Winamp4 at all... I`ve been useing Winamp 5 in alfa version for few weeks and it`s better then 3 or 2... Why Winamp 5 without 4 ? Becouse 2+3=5 ;) Producent include the best features from both version and that`s why Winamp 5 is the best version.
I haven`t got any problems with Winamp3 - you must only config it carefully :) Only some skins could crush it - but it`s skin maker guilty.
winamp 2.91! heber101, have u moved the song files since you put them in the playlist? try emptying the playlist and putting them back in again. whenever u add a file to a playlist, all it does is tell the program where to find the file - exactly like a shortcut. so if u move the files, it cant find them and just keeps running thru trying to find one to play.
save the files in C:/program files/winamp/skins/ , open winamp, click that little 'dot' on the top-left corner of the main winamp window, go to skins, and select the one you want.
You may also try opening winamp's skin browser.

I have just uninstalled winamp3, and now enery time i try to play something, it says i need to have winamp ot play it. I have windows media player, and quicktime. plz help me.
Winamp 5 is the shit, I was a big fan of 2 for a long time, tried 3, didn't like it and went back to 2, then downloaded the RC of 5 and I never plan on going back.
Winamp3 stopped playing audio files (mp3, cda, wav, etc.), though it would play video portion of mm files. Windows Media Player also wouldn't play audio. It's not a volume control issue, 'cause cd player works, system sounds heard, and old winamp will play, but file associations are gone & if I just click on a file, I get the "open with". winamp 3 _is_ a memory leak. and your install is totally fucked
uninstall winamp3, and reset your file associations:
CTRL PNL-Folder Options- TAB file associations. You could also install another prog, say quicktime or winamp 2/5 and force the file associations.
if the uninstall dosnt even work just delete it raw and force the extensions.
after reading that gramatical nightmare, im going to have a drink.

I have winamp3 and i think its great but my only problem is that i would like to put the songs i have on my playlist ont to a CD, i have a program and the burner to do it but i cant seem to find the songs on the program, they just dont come up. We can make them mp3's but that doesnt work on most cd players and im wondering if anyone knows a program that works with winamp3 or if theres something i can do that will allowe me to put the songs on cds,or in windows media player because i have songs in there that i can put on cds so i think that could work to but i cant figure it out, if anyone knows plz tell me wat i could do [plz] the cd creating programs i have are called: NTI CD-Maker 2000 Professional and the one that makes mp3 cds is called:SonicStage Simple Burner if you need anyother info, tell me cause im willing to find it, thx! .x.[Mady].x.
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WINAMP 2.91. I HAVE IT INSTALLED IN A VERY OLD PC (WINDOWS 95, 40MB MEMORY), BUT IT HAS INSTALLED A 52X CD BURNER. WHEN I WANT TO PLAY AN MP3 FILE DIRECTLY FROM A CD (NOT FROM THE HARD DISK), THE SONG IN CERTAIN PARTS BLINKS. SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT THE REASON IS THE READING BUFFER, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO RESOLVE THAT.
