i was just wondering if people are like me and use one screen name for the most part or have a bunch of different ones?...i think its kinda wiered how some people get their screen names...mine came from a creative writing project freshman year loosely based on the odessy.
i used to have a new sn every month or so, then i stuck with a few for a long time, then i got "merkurixx" from "mercury" and it just suited me, so here i be. i think merkurixx is my longest lasting sn
"Status" was originally a test account on a message board I ran. Somewhere along the line though he developed himself as a sort of alter-ego for me. As Status I could insult people to their faces and use surfer slang instead of being a rational, practical admin.
For some reason though, I just quit using my 'real' handle and became Status everywhere around three years ago. I don't use much surfer slang anymore, tho'. =)
hehe my old screen name was fuzwomp for aim but then i forgot the stupid fucking password...so for a while i change my screeen name untill i found a good one....hehe i had some silly screen names.... such as cyberwomp ( and i was like 8 ) and ruckus
I've always been fatcrab...almost everywhere...came from a time when I liked Prodigy a lot...if you know anything about them you might get it..if not then I don't care.
I have 3 jplach wich is the first letter of my name and my last name, and I have wron, wich I made when I was playing a game on nes back when I was a kid, and my backup jeral for when my others just dont suit.
I have been "laz9000" on aim for as long as I want to remeber, I have others but never use. I have better ones too but its just easy to say laz9000 then others, and a lot of ppl know me on it, and its a bitch for me to change s/n's
cooper's been my name for about 2 years on just about everywhere i go. Anetalaya- i use Shayna Lynn sometimes, if i'm feeling particularly saucy. ;) but i like the androgony of cooper. i don't like getting hit on when i go to site. (a/s/l? trade pics?... yuck)
AdamTT. for ever and ever and ever and ever. All since Red Alert was new and AdamTT wasnt taken and i just had got a connection and wanted to try playing online games :P
----------AdamTT - custo admin---------- kitten. On a STICK!
On aim, I have gotten many rare names. I've had Triumph, Battle, Leetful, Colorful, H4CK, d3e, e1f, SJC, BigD, Lildee, and many others. All of them were suspended or stolen using AIM/AOL exploits or by someone with an AOL Contact.
If I could only use this power for good I wouldn't, not even if I could.
i used to use different screennames, usually i would stick with one for a while. but i got tired of sn, now linus is just enough. i spell it with a small L that's it. linus being my real name, of course, it's not a sn. lihnus if linus is taken.
if the name doesn't matter, like no one will see it, or i just want to sign up allready, when all names are taken, i use bubblorba. can't really remember where i got that =P
i used to use something like cokramden all the time - kramden from that old show the honeymooners and i added the co cause kramden would usually be taken and it was an easy fix. I then switched to things like cool36 and such, but after a while i thought that was lame... Im not sure where compo came from - but it stuck with me for about the past 3 years...
.compo the day i laern to spel is the day jennifer lopez cann act [.peace]
H8r... i need that info on AIM exploits.. iw as goignot make a new s/n, entered the name and then the browser closed on me... so i lost it, it is no ones.. but I want that one for the past 3 years.... I hope you can help me, e-mail me if you wanna (in profile)
i have this name and a completly different personality that i use on the net so people don't stalk me...i've had a internet stalker before and let me tell u it aint fun...kuronekogrrl means "blackcatgrrl" in japanese cos i'm a japanese nut! i love thier cartoons, thier food, everything! i would live there if i could but multimedia design across cultural clashes may not work...
heh heh...*thinks of kuroneko-sama* nyaaa! sorry - i think that everytime i see kuronekogrrl...
i usually only have one name on-line, but i'm currently using several for various im accounts. Fenris is actually one i just sarted using, but my alter ego is always the same. ^_^
yeah i like the little japanese cartoons in the instruction manuals.... we recently got a DVD player and inside it was explaining not to put other heavy electronics on it... Anyway, the pic was a mean VCR beating up the poor DVD player lol :)

hey Coop (a/s/l) nah im just kidding O_- yah its hard to have once screen name for a long time cause of passwords and just getting put on too many list.
always been a colossus (from sonny rollin's great jazz l.p., "saxophone colossus" although i post my "b" material under red bottle. Relax, I'm here to replace your pie, where do you keep it?
Hmm i rember the days where i made my screen name from my intials , encapsulated by Xx's :( other screen names would of derived from the anime series Gundam wing. and the o so goofy gu3rrilawarfar3 AH you have to Love Striking your enemy in The mind as well as in battle :)
around the community i've always been GUESShimself. same goes for AIM for an even longer time. if i can find some way to change all of my accounts to just guess i probably would...but that's unlikely to happen
i started out as therealmcoy (variation of my surname) but came up with dephunked one afternoon when i was bored, just poppedinto my head when i was staring out the window. i have a few others i use for gaming now and every now and again on some sites for anonimity, but thats about it.
I was sitting around drunk --and by drunk,i mean stoned-- one night (right after i turned 19) and we started talking about the difference between the generation x and the new generation y. We revampted our explanation and such and boom,we came out to that the teens becoming adults in the current age are generation y right now as generation x was from long ago. So we set a date to generation x and ta-da,i become generation y.
I got mine screen name from a White Wolf pen and paper rpg called Mage: The Ascension. I liked the name, so I kept it, not knowing what it was. I was playing counter-strike in beta 3 or so, and some guy started talking to me in Latin, and I said, "what are you saying?" turns out senex is latin and means old man. I only use senex and senextheorem for my usernames. Had it forever. prolly at least 5-6 years
Darksheer came from an Electronic Arts 1994 PC game called "Noctropolis"
I've basically used the same handle since then, unfortunately, I didn't start using AIM until a couple of years ago; naturally, Darksheer had already been taken.
It was about 6 months ago that I started using "ds" as often or more often as I use darksheer (which I also decided to lowercase the "D" in about a month ago)
CB4 = Corey Bennett (my name), 4 = baseball #, Baller = use to play basketball and baseball...now just baseball, but I've had the sn too long to change
pianostrings... that came from "Mermaid Scar"... quite possibly the worst anime movie i've ever seen... and the kid tried to cut someone's head off with piano strings... i also like it cuz i play the piano quite well, been playing for 10 years now... the 05 part is just my graduating year cuz other people use pianostrings too much, and cuz of my unoriginality, i use pianostrings for everything...
I'm generally Mr.Moose for non-specific use or some variation depending what I use it for i.e. MooseSkin on here since it's a skinning site, mp3moose (or mustardpie sometimes) on Kazaa. I just got a thing about Moose after a Mooses/Meece/Meese/Mii debate in school. Other names I use for games like Quake III are "Your Momma" and "Connection Failed".
- MooseSkin "You say potato, I say potato. You say tomato, I say tomato."
Topher is my name. Actually its Christopher, but I'm an Atheist, so I Dropped the "Chris" because it has too much religous symbolism. Everyone calls me Topher. Pronounced "Toe-fur" kid topher just sounds cool in my opinion.
