changing aim picture

then just open aimres in reshacker, and then go to GIFDATA -> 103 and then right click on it and click replace resource.

awesome, ive been wondering bout this. what kind of files can i replace it with? (jpg, etc.) and do they have to be a certain size or anything like that?

oooook, i thought i could handle this...guess not.

could somebody explain to me, in detail, how to convert the aim splash screen (aimres.dll - gifdata - 103...right?) into a format i can edit.

i've saved both .res and "binary" versions of this but can't do anything with either of em.

that is the part i am having trouble with...how do i edit and replace it? many thanks to whomever can help a po' brotha out.
