I don't know what the hell I did, but when I download something (ex: zip files), Iexplorer doesn't ask where to save it, it just download and open it after download and I don't like that!!!
Pleeeeeaaaassseeee! Does somebody knows how to restore to the original configuration or something??
well, I don't know exactly have to fix it, but what you probably did was unclick a box that asks if you want to be prompted about how you want to download the file. what you can do is right click on the link to the download and click save target as and still be able to save it to where you want.
when they get downloaded then opened, a lot of times they are in your temp folder.
the second part is the location of the folder where ie explorer is saving them without it asking you, more than likely. either that or temporary internet files folder.
Senextheorem yes, I think i did something like that, but it doesn't save the files at the temp internet folder for too long, and besides it's to much work to go there to find all the files I downloaded.
uy! that radical is the solution? well, I will try updating and restarting, hope it works, if doesn't guess I'll have to live with it... no way I will reinstall windows again...
