I think it's a different kind of rudeness, the French think the Americans are rude as in impolite, Americans think the French are rude as in make nude paintings of people. :P

Well after reading this thread, i must say, we did just prove that as individuals we are smart, there were a lot of good points made. Unfortunately, it also proves that people as a group can be ingorant, this would be, in my opinion, should have been something that some good may have come from. I've been to France... a bit too cold (it was winter lol) for me, most people were asses to us untill they found out we were from hawaii, then it was always "ive always wanted to go there" (and yes hawaii makes the 50th state, can anyone tell me what #'s 49 and 48 were??? with out going to google that is.) yea education sux here... but anyways thats for a different thread... back to france :-) i suppose i would be bitter towards tourists hell i am hawaii is a tourist trap from hell... its what our economy is built on... so i cant have that much haterid toward them... but you know with all the bad stuff that happend while in paris (ie my $2500 strad trumpet being stolen amonth them) when we got out into the "county" where some of the vineyards were, the people there were really nice... amiable even... the US is supposed to be the melting pot of the world, where all the nations of the world can meet in saftey, freedom of this and that blah blah blah... what ever guys remember there is a price we have to pay for this freedom... being a target of world terror would be one of them... so what i want to know is how many people got offended by some of the posts in this thread... lol i bet max and antya and illusion did (sorry bout the speeling hehehe) but they all did make valid points, status did put it best "Both countries kick ass. Now play nice." and LOL @ xRain about the winamp skins thing
anyways my point being, grow up just a little bit, (yea i got some growing up to do too but) come on guys/gals (donno bout the gender thing in here) y'all customize your desktops topnotch and leave me full of envy as all i can do is take what you made and arange it the way i like... its time to do the same with your minds
I don't know where is Enya from, but I'm sure is not french... a good french singer (well, only my opinion) is Vanessa Paradis, her last album is very good.
I will add just one more thing: I don't hate USA, or any other country. After all nobody is perfect. ^_^. and "hate" is a very strong and dangerous word.
