Wanted to ask for some advice about which shell I should use.
I want one that isn't going to suck down all the resources on my computer, and won't freak when I want to play a game (Litestep gave me that problem). I also want something that looks slick and is worth customizing.

btw, Snowman.. I don't know what your "?!" was meant to imply, but it's not that I don't know of these shells... it's that I don't know what one I want to use. That's why I'm asking people who have already tried them to get some opinions.
coestar....I would say start of with litestep, something like up to date. And I don't know if your trying to dump explorer, but there's always StyleXP.

bluebox: Small, unintruding, easily cusomized, but the current alpha with the window skinning support is a bit on the buggy side yet. other than that, great shell
ge0shell is bombass, and so easy to configure colors that you can match ANYTHING! its also easy on the ram and very minimalistic. thats why i used it. what should you use? hell if i care, im not some research tool, go look on the internet.

i've been using litestep for about 10 months now and i've never had any conflicts with games. not sure what you're talkin about. have you been hitting the crack pipe?

I can never get black box to work :( Like, the installation is confusing.

Well, as I said: LiteStep might not give YOU problems, but that doesn't mean it doesn't give anyone else problems.
However, I made this deduction by watching my friend try to play games with LiteStep installed. His computer has problems with it, mine doesn't. Thus, I'm using LiteStep now.
