Problems with customize.org

The only p\oblems I have been having is slowdown everyonce in a while. Maybe the problems is on your end.

It is something with IE. Try phoenix or mozilla.

The same thing happens to me, sometimes. But certainly not 95% of the time...

I get it also, the whole page will load, but it just stops on the .jpg

whoops forgot.

Just close IE and reload it. pain in the ass but it fixes it.

I get it sometimes too but not just the pics, it seems that random parts of the site (i.e. Users, Wallpapers, Forum, etc) just decide not to work, usually only one goes down at a time. Also it's about 40% of visits, nowhere near 95% for me.

another "problem" i can't seem to submit .zips at all in netscape *and no. i have no other browser choice's... ie DOES not work for me anymore..same with mozilla,phoenix*

I can't see any of the submitted images or the images that represent each skin section and I'm using IE6 sp1. It has been like this for about a week off and on but for some reason it's been like this for the past 2 days. This blows hard. I need my custo.

I've got a problem too... My profile shows that I have only 239 posts.

Files saved in PS7 using 'save for web' have a habit of messing with IE. Try Netscape just to be sure.

I followed a link about PS7 files messing up IE6 then forgot later why I had that page open and went around their site. I have IE6 and I opened loads of their pics. I had no problem at all, wonder why?

Oh and I don't know about other people but the errors I get here are "could not connect" errors, not browser crashing like the PS7 files apparently do.

I get the same problems on my dial up connection at home. No matter what browswer, all the graphics from Custo just show up as broken links.

Hell, the same thing happens at my buddies house too (who is on dial up). However, here at school its fine (College is on multiple T3's).

So, its a problem with something internally, which I happen to think with DNS resolving. Who knows, but its not just you and its not your computer. Don't go wiping out your hard drive and formatting your PC because somebody says its your computer's fault.

Thank you. I was hoping it wasn't a problem with my computer. I assumed it wasn't. Just because someone says it is, doesn't necessarily mean that it is. I know my computer fairly well(configuration-wise, not emotionally) so I don't usually believe people when they believe it's my configuration, but I still look into it.
It's been going good for the past day or so, so hopefully it'll stay that way.

I currently use two different dial up accounts. I get this problem with one, but not the other. Very wierd.

I actually do think it has something to do with the dial up stuff. I connected to a different number a couple of days ago, and when I switch to a different one(the one i'd been using when I had problems) the problem resurfaced.

I've just been having the problem again with images, then downloading files and I'm on broadband, so since I'm on the same connection all day I don't see how it could fluctuate like that and be the connection.

I have the same problems, but to complicate things sometimes when I load the page the first time its like the css file dosnt load and all the links have lines under them etc. I hit F5 and everything is good again, well with the exception of the broken images :(

i had that broken image problem tonight in netscape on my dsl connection... sorta annoying that i have to go to div art and spend time reviewing there.

I posted this prob before.. it's much worse now.. the image server is down.. simple.. could be dns.. but all submitted images and stealthdisk advert are down.. stealthdisk swf is loading from temp.customize .. and images.customize.. like i said.. could be dns or svr load.. something is up.. i noticed it about a week ago.. all browsers.. 3 computers.. 2 diff connections..

I've got the same problem exactly... broken images everywhere - I've had it like this for 3 weeks at least, and sometimes pages just don't load.

I'm on ADSL as well, and it's the only site that I have experienced this with lately.

I hope you guys figure it out ;)

i'm having the same trouble, about 3 weeks ago it was all fine and dandy, now i get no customize pics and well i'm very sad now.

The problem seems to have cleared up for me.....I think Arznek is right, but I don't why it would be so sporadic....I dom't know what to do for you man. It sucks, I know.

I have a problem which happens randomly but lately has been happening a lot where I can navigate any part of the website except user pages. (http://users.customize.org/colossus72, etc...)

I get a page cannot be found error.
