The world has become too politically correct. I bet alot of people thought it was funny but were afraid to say so because they feared that they would look like incompassionate (sp?) aholes. I fear the day when we cannot look at a picture like that and think its funny.
What the fuck has it got to do with being politically correct? Was there ever a time when you could have a good laugh at some poor unfortunate bastard because they're brain damaged? No. If you find it funny then you're simply an immature wanker.
Sometimes people end up in special accommodation centres, requiring constant care, not because they are 'retards' as smart-arsed children like to call them...but because they were a able-bodied, fully "normal" 18 year old who changed a light globe while the current was still active...and now needs someone to change him, feed him and the sad thing is he fully remembers how he 'was'. His life now is essentially fucked....but not nearly as much as the morons who find it all a big joke.
Yeah, it is a bit of a laugh when you see it, but then consider this.
They can't help the way they are. Maybe they could have turned the mains off when they changed the lightbulb, but that's a mistake anyone can make. So it could happen to you.

alright you guess are all products of modern times. it used to be that disabled people were basically kept away from 'normal' people. but for example in my sschool there is a special program for all the disabled children. and alot of people volenteer to help with the program and earlier this year when one of the children died it was a big deal. there IS a difference between laughing at a joke and laughing at a person if you haven't figured that out for yourself.
