Shocks, have you ever SEEN a football game? The game starts with a kick, there's a kick involved in 90% of scoring situations (PATs, Field goals), there's a kick involved in 90% of non-scoring situations (Punts), and there's a kick immediately after any points scored (kick-offs). The game even STARTS with a kick.

Damn, all these Eagles fans. I hate to say it but the Giants will unfortunately beat them next week thereby making the playoffs only to defeat the Eagles and play the Raiders in the Superbowl. Not only could Collins outdrink little AJ Feely, but Shockey could and will eat the Eagles for dinner.

Ah Koy Detmer. He has been one hell of a holder on the field goal and extra point unit. He should perform well against Michael Straham and the rest of the Giants defense. Hopefully his elbow doesn't pop out again. I actually think the Eagles would be better off if they left Feely in for the game, but thats their decision to make. And I agree that I don't see the Giants making it to the Superbowl, but hey, I can dream.

Well New Orleans has to beat the Panthers and Atlanta has to lose to the Brown which I don't see happening. The Atlanta Michael Vicks are good. But anyways, the Giants have made the playoffs so I'm happy since I nearly died in the car when the announcer said the Eagles missed their field goal. They will win their first playoff game and whoever they lose to will play the Raiders in the Superbowl.

I like the American and Canadian football over association football, but I agree we shoul stop using the stupid makeup name of "soccer". It should be football.

So now which is more preferred? Australian Football or Rugby?

Actually the rules of football (soccer) saids players can play the ball (sounds kinky doesn't it) with any part of their bodies except for the arms, hands, and shoulders. The excpetion is of course the goalies and when players do throw-ins after the ball went out-of-bounds. Players other than goalies gets their hands on the ball (kinky) only in the throw-in situations.
