poot...i think he's talking about the app's icon in the titlebar, not the throbber in the toolbar.
If this is the case checkdog, the only way I know to remove it is to apply a windowblinds scheme that has it turned off. I know when I build skins that the titlebar icon is a seperate element that can be modified, so I gues you could delete it when you create the skin and it would not show up. Never tried it though.
Exactly why do you wanna take the icon off?

Look at http://www.customize.org/view/20646 and you will see, that the throbbers are already off. i don't like to use windowsblinds for 3 personal reason (which i won't tell ya:) i'd like to remove the titlebar icons because i dont' like them. but i got a further idea: what about a reshackertool? if i could find the file containg the titlebar icon (for example explorer.exe), i could delete it, couldn't i? please help, comments welcome.
an app's titlebar icon is usually its executable or its main dependent licked dll or other types of library files edit the icons(the ones used for the titlbar) to be just all-transparent
yeah, like uri said. You couldn't just delete it from the executable or dll, you would have to replace it with an image that is all transparent and most likely the same file size. You will run into problems if you change the filesize or the resource handle of something the prog thinks it needs.
