I got beat up by a 35-year-old man last night. We were TP'ing a friend's house and her neighbor chased us down the road, got out, and beat up me and my friend. Just thought you guys would be interested. I haven't decided if I'm gonna press charges.

Umm..a black eye is evidence..so is a witness. Now it might not be 'credible' but they can prove their case beyond reasonable doubt..which means you could win.
I think you should press charges, tp'ing someone's house is a joke, and not one worthy of being beaten up, especially if it was none of his business. A 35 year old man should know better.
press charges???? man, buy B41 or silenced B31 and waste MF. or cut him with knife. in some dark place. it works:)) if u press charges u have to risk that someday u will be beat up again. go to the gym and work for a year and then kill MF.
The day a 35 year old outruns me is the day I beat the piss out of myself. And why was he so damn concerned, cause after all he is just a neighbor. They must have a nasty neighborhood watch program on that street. I honestly wouldn't press charges unless you were really injured. Cuts and bruises go away, plus they look cool. Just don't tell people you got them from a 35 year old neighbor that chased you and your friend down for TPing someone's house. Subtle revenge is the way to go.

hey IAmTheProdigy, i know you're the prodigy, but you're still a loser. he chased me down in a car, and i was about ready to hit him, but he was really quick. he threw me up against the windshield of a car before i knew where i was. apparently he was on american gladiators.
I don't know if you could press charges or not, but that's up to you and your lawyer...
Btw, what are you going to say when they ask you what you and your friend where doing? TPing somebody's house is not going to make you look like a nice guy....
Never age doesn't mean anything. My dad, in his 50's as avoided fightnig just because he could seriuosly injure the other person. Now he avoids it because this country is full of people with guns =/...
I see a line of cars and they're all painted black With flowers and my love, both never to come back
Unfortuanatly frostedFlames, since there is really no way to prove that the man did indeed beat him up...Outsider will still look like a "bratty-ass-stupid-LYING"teenager in the court's eyes and he'll look like a homeowner...
I might be a loser, but I was under the impression you got run down on foot. With 2 on 1 you should have still gotten the better of him. The whole thing sounds stupid to me anyways. That guy should get his ass beat by every father in America for beating up kids half his age. I still say forget pressing charges and deal with it on your own.

Dude, 1: TPing a house is old news and rather lame. You should be ashamed you even thought of that idea, unless you stole it off of full house. Next time, try something more original, like going into a hospital and stealing all the circumsized babies foreskin and covering his car in it. 2: the average 35 year old male is 5'9 and 30 pounds over weight. You are either fat and slow, retarded, or you better be missed a leg. 3: Why the hell didnt you and your TWO friends kick the shit outta this guy? If someone is chasing you and you kick his ass, 9 times outta 10 you wont get in any trouble, as long as you keep the ass kicking to a minimum. Just enough to teach the old coot that you mean business and he would feel much better if he just walked home. You really should feel ashamed and you should spend the next few days wondering where the hell your manhood went.

samurai, outsider clearly stated that apparently this guy who beat him up was on american gladiators! have you even seen the size of those guys? C'mon they can take on at least 4 underaged people at once, bet he's on stereoids or something.
I say press charge the mf, I bet he has some past events also so it can make your complaint sound more credible. Coz it aint normal that a 35 year old ex-american gladiator chases 2 underaged people with a car and smashes them on his windsheild. And the reason : TPing? I dont think so.. Anyway if a dude who microwaves his cat and sues the company that made the microwave because they didnt put a sign that cats should not be put in microwaves can win millions of dollars, you can too :)
If it really was a "friend's" house then if they told the police it was a joke that'd make you not look bad.
And if this guy was on Gladiators that makes a poor case on his side since he's famous for fighting. Also like Spayk said he's probably got a history if he's like that.
You could take matters into your own hands but then the problem's likely to escalate. In the long run if the police do get involved you won't have a leg to stand on.
The same thing happened to me two days ago. I was checking out this nice bike and some guy came outside and beat me up. He also beat up a friend of mine who wanted to help me.
Being on American Gladiators and being an American Gladiator are 2 completely different things. Outsider said he was on American Gladiators. Basically he is athletic, but not neccesarily diesel. My sixth grade teacher was on the show.

u wouldn't want me to be the 35 -year- old man, if were crazy enough to pick on a couple of teen-agers(as if it were worth my time), i would of even gotten out of my car to beat u up >:)
What does the age of 35 have to do with whether one guy could out run another. I could see the 35 year old being slow if he smoked 2- packs of cigarettes a day and was obese, but just because he is older, it does not mean he is slow and fraile. I`m almost 42, and could give alot of twenty year olds a run for their money.
Sounds like the guy chasing you had other problems and was looking for a way to vent them.
Pressing charges is your own decision, but the fact of the matter is-- if you act like a fool, sooner or later, you will be one.
you still havent told us the extent of your injuries...if you have broken limbs then prees charges, if you have a black eye and a sore back then to quote the great jim bruer "walk it off dick"

ok guys, didn't mean to start all of this, but it's been great to hear your opinions. To clear a few things up, this man was on American Gladiators, not is, but when he was throwing me against the car, I could feel the american gladiator in him, believe me.
The reason we couldn't outrun him is this: he was in an Intrepid (not too fast) but we were in a 95 Jeep. And it wasn't me or my friend driving. It was a girl friend of mine driving (women drivers!) and there were 6 of us in there (3 guys 3 girls).
after he cut us off about the 4th time, me and my friend got out to find out what the hell his problem was. that's when the beatings commenced. i really didn't get hurt all that bad (cut lip, bruised cheek, sore neck, possibly broken finger) and neither did my friend, but my friend got hit in the face, and you just don't hit a kid. apparently he's been in jail a few times before (for who knows what).
so ya, keep the comments coming. btw, the girl driving is pressing charges cuz he messed up her car. my friend still hasn't decided if he's pressing charges, but his parents want him too. I haven't decided yet either, but I think I'll just let bygones be bygones and just chalk the whole thing up to experience.
