With a few kits its easily possible to connect a keybord and mouse to your xbox and surf the net, check email (basicly anything you could do with it on a computer) and .... use standard linux updates off the mandrake site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angel: No doubt.....but services is where MS wants to make money on the Xbox, so that's where I bet they focus a lot of their energy in protecting their interests.
i was willing to pay for it when I thougth they were running the servers. . .I don't see what I'm paying for except to make sure that no one else will play with my handle

so why doesnt some one, crack the encoding scheme for all the graphics.. and make a program to run the game off your already working PC, so u dont have to buy a 300$ stripped PC... and figure the pinouts and algorithms for the controller, to attach to your comp.. and for the games... then you can write a program to use over the internet with people.. and M$ IS FUCKED.. they won't get money from console... because you didn't buy it.. they won't get money from games b/c they didn't make it...
